The essentials
There is no “correct” shape.
Every vulva is different. Asymmetry is normal, and enlarged inner labia are not a disease.
Surgery makes sense when there is physical strain — friction during sport, pain during intercourse, pressure in tight clothing — or a clearly articulated burden.
The correction is made through one carefully planned incision (one-cut technique after Alinsod): less scar tissue, preservation of the natural edge and of sensation.
Where indicated, it can be combined with a perineoplasty or scar revision — one surgical day, one recovery period.

Process
From consultation to healing.
I
Initial consultation
Confidential conversation, history and examination. Dr. Wagner explains what is possible — and what is not. Around 30 minutes.
II
Examination and surgical plan
Assessment of shape, symmetry, tissue quality and scarring, followed by an individual plan with clear expectations.
III
Outpatient procedure
60–90 minutes in the practice under local anaesthesia, with optional sedation. Self-dissolving sutures. You go home the same day.
IV
Follow-up
Recovery in the practice, then structured check-ups. Desk work usually after 3–5 days; sport and intercourse after around six weeks.
